I have the FZ seat for my ‘18 MT, got it in the marketplace. I can’t tell any difference other than the logo, and it fits perfectly.
I saw that pricing difference also when I was in the market. My thoughts was a supply/demand thing, so they can get away with charging a bit more for the FZ logo seat.

That makes sense. I had very little doubt that they were different. Thanks for the input!

I bought a seat from Revzilla about 1.5 weeks ago with the FZ-10 logo rather than the MT-10 logo for my '19 MT10.
It came out to 252.xx$ shipped If you're interested in getting it there.

FZ seat is $30 dollars more than the MT seat at Revzilla ATM. I guess that isn't too much of a difference.

I had the same 'dilemma', and bought the MT seat. Why pay $30 more for the same thing? Besides, neither seat fits perfectly, and I was hoping the MT one had resolved those issues, but that was wishful thinking. The front of the seat eventually wears out both the bike's paint, and the vinyl, creating a hole on the inside. When watching used seats for sale with those holes I knew they weren't seating properly. So I glued a thick washer of the exact thickness needed under the metal 'tongue', where the front of the seat latches, and grinded the leading edge of the washer at 45-deg, so the seat could slide into place easily. Also added Velcro where the seat hits the paint, since the curvature of the comfort seat is tighter than the stock seat, for some reason (both use the same base). Zero issues with my seat after that fix. Oh, and also adjusted it to slide as far forward as possible, since the front gap was also larger than stock, and look bad. It's barely acceptable now. That's the first time I had to make so many adjustments to an OEM part, but it was my only choice, since I don't like seat covers (Seat Concepts), and the Corbin was too tall for me. Sargent was going to make a seat for the FZ/MT-10, but don't think they ever did that; I like those better than Corbins.

I have a custom Corbin seat that cost almost 400$ if i remember right, i'd be willing to sell it for 180$ + shipping. It isn't even broken in yet, i sold the bike. I sat on a friends corbin, and a Yam comfort seat at the dealer, and decided it wasn't enough of a difference.

No difference besides the logo.
Check out my threads. I got a post about how to minimize the wearing on the corners of the seat that rub the tank. Anybody that gets the comfort seat should check it out.

I'm one of those that actually think the stock seat is actually pretty comfy so just got a cover for mine and fitted it myself... About $100 from a company in Italy called Volcano Industries.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to post this, like you I like the Volcano cover better. Did you choose any of the gel options and if so, which one and why? Trying to decide which one to order. . . . Price has gone up at 159 euro plus gel if I so elect but still worth it IMHO. I'm glad I searched the forum, I was about to order the factory comfort saddle. Also, how does it attach, did you have to staple all around the bottom I'm guessing? This is my first post on the forum, hoping I'm doing this right! Ha ha

I would also like to know the installation of the volcano seat cover and opinions on which gel option to get. I’m in the US and moving states soon so I’d like to know lead time before this item shows up to my door.
Thanks!
