I’m using it and I’m not sure how relevant those big and bulky ram mounts now are for motorcycle now that QuadLock have entered the phone mount market.
I mean, since QuadLock exist, is there really a need to use RAM? Those are bulky and need two hand operation - one to hold the phone, the other to hold the mount.
Ive used RAM before and keep loosing the rubber parts. And it really is in your face. So big and bulky.
QuadLock Pros: - Tiny footprint - Sturdy plastic - Multiple application (bike, car, running) - Multiple mounting point (handlebar) - Single hand mounting of phone - Poncho for rain
QuadLock Cons: - Need to use QuadLock Case - Quadlock case back is not flat
Whats your opinion?

The Quick grip is far superior to the Quadlock and is easy to use one handed. The ram ball mounts are extremely versatile and offer several mount options. The top is spring loaded so you just insert the top of your phone, push up and set the bottom in place, doesn't require any special case and can be adjusted for any phone.

Quad lock all the way. Used Ram mount and it was bulky and clunky. Not too bad when the phone was mounted but looks like ass when it wasn't. Sleek and unobtrusive, solid and sturdy and the phone case offers great protection.

Ram Mount makes multiple styles, if you had a Quick Grip you wouldn't have switched.

Quad locks fail eventually. Plastic wears down and your phone will wobble around in the mount while "locked" - It's great in concept though. Id rather have a RokForm.

I've switched from the ram mount to the quadlock and it's been a sturdy ally for the past 5+ bikes I've owned.

I'm considering ordering a Quad lock handlebar mount for my MT-10 2018 and iPhone 12. I've seen on their website that they offer a few extra accessories and from what I understood, getting the vibration dampener is a must to avoid damage to the phone. Getting a charger is not really useful with the origin USB socket. Did you get any extra accessories ?

I'm in the market for one but don't want to replace my phone case, so I guess I will check out the the Ram Quickgrip and that Rokform. I can't believe how expensive they are for what they are.

I've tried 2 of the quad locks and they stripped out and would get loose from dew on the ball and socket joints. They are crap as far as I'm concerned. I broke down and bought a Rok form mount and case and it's worked out perfectly.

Also the metal ring you can put into the case when it's not mounted to the bike comes in handy. Use it to hold the phone or as a little kickstand for landscape video watching. Zero issues with anything stripping out. The Rokform looks cool but that's a TON of money for that thing.

I’ve just ordered a hondo garage vibration damper to try out with my ram mount quick grip. I lost my iPhone 11 camera after a bumpy, quick paced ride. Hopefully this will help in not killing my camera on the new phone.
