I’d like to buy some ones stock grips from them. I recently purchased and had professionally installed (I don’t have that magic mechanics touch) some Oxford sport heated grips.
The heat they put out is phenomenal. However, they are most UNCOMFORTABLE grips I have ever used. I want them Off my bike ASAP. I have scoured the web looking for the stock grips but have had no luck. I can’t find any relevant part number and this corona lockdown has all my local dealers shut down.
If anyone wants to straight up swap stock grips for my oxfords, I’m game, pending they can un install it all. The thickness of the oxfords is legitimately ruining my rides. Never thought that the thickness would be an issue but my stock grips on my FJ09 feel like heaven after riding my MT with Oxfords. I’ll take comfy hands over warm hands any day.

Interesting that sucks that you’re having such a terrible experience. I recently installed some new bars and grips on mine. I was able to slide the throttle grip off but have left the left one on the bars because well it was glued perfectly. Anyways, I just ripped it off with no damage for you and can ship them tomorrow. I think they had about 8k miles on them or so, Message me if you’re interested.

Why not get better grips, and just sell your heated ones? I say that because the stock grips are awful. I'd have given you mine for free, but had to cut the left one. The ProGrip 719s I got look OEM, and were dirt cheap, at less than $20. There's another ProGrip model that is even cushier (gel inserts), but don't look quite OEM to me. The only thing I didn't quite like is they're not black, but at least less gray than the other ones I mentioned (don't remember the number). I didn't get tingly hands anymore, so they did the trick. I'd have gotten the others if needed, but wasn't necessary. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I like being able to really feel the bike/throttle. I’ll look up the 719s, I appreciate it! I don’t care much about the looks of grips, only the ride. The oxfords are hard and much too thick. I would just go to my local moto shop and check out the thickness of some other grips but we’re in week 5 of lockdown so I’ll just stick with what I know. Guess I must be old fashioned 😉

Thanks man! I might take you up on these! Itsjeezus18 already helped me out! If I run into an issue with an install, I’ll buy these off you! Cheers! This is exactly why I love this forum.
