I saw on the British MT10 forum that they are saying Yamaha has redone the comfort seat to replace the current one. Has anyone heard of this?

Remember Yamaha Europe is a separate company & in MHO they're accessories are more wide ranging. When I was a Yamaha parts consultant & would go to MotoGP in Indy I'd get to speak to corporate folks from Yamaha USA re accessory availability. Generally, they weren't too enthusiastic to bringing European accessories over here. Their excuse was different market. So I doubt if we will see a different seat at least until the pipeline is out of the current model.
