Found this manufacturer of carbon fiber parts for the MT. Wondering if anyone has any experience with their products?

www.ffcarbon.com/en/shop/Yamaha/MT-10/Well they have one part I need so I'll guess we'll find out. Or maybe not...it seems they have a flaw in their checkout system, they don't have a box to input the state for U.S customers, so the address can't complete for shipping. Sent them an email.

Better than sex for an old guy like me, hah. Hopefully they'll straighten out their order process for USA as I'm very interested in carbon upgrades.

Ok, got the ordering thing straightened out, well see how long it takes to get the part, fit and finish, etc. If carbon is molded correctly, the parts fit fine, but sometimes the molds are off a tiny bit, so you need to hand fit stuff. It can get frustrating if you don't know what your doing. Unfortunately I've had a number of problems with some of the Moto Composites stuff I have on my bike, but I tackled all of it and got it on there. If you're after weight savings, the best part is the front fender, you'd be surprised at how much a plastic front fender weighs compared to the carbon. After that, it becomes a money versus weight thing. This is what 3 grand of carbon looks like on an MT10, and takes roughly 3 pounds of weight off the bike, so you have to ask yourself if $1000 per pound is worth it: Get out your wallet And get ready to wait...FF said part will be 3 months

Best looking MT I’ve ever seen. I’d remove my kick stand for the 3lbs or go on a diet—the gorgeous glisten of fresh carbon on an already fascinating looking bike—worth $3k and hours of fab work all day.

Now you need to get a set of BST wheels to complete the carbon. Have a set on my '10 FZ1 and love them.

Motocomposites are fairly decent. I ordered some parts from them, based in Canada and I'm in the UK. One the items doesn't fit great but they're looking to sort that for me. Also, AliExpress do a full MT10 panel kit in carbon 3D twill in gloss for about a $1000. For me the carbon is about aesthetics and customising my bike. Its nothing at all about performance and weight saving.

Helllo there, I saw you post and I will tell this: Don't buy from F&FCarbon. They use poor varnish which peels off after few months. I take care of my bike and it never sleeps outdoors... Only the rain affects it I already purchased them 2 carbon parts for my bike, and after 6months I had to buy a replacement for one of them (they did a discount on it but I still had to pay) Now I have the same issue again...I am disgusted.
