I woke up this morning all excited. Last week I installed a K-Tech rear shock on my new MT10. Tuesday I dropped it off at the shop to do new front springs (no cartridges). The front forks are pretty good so it was only a matter of me being a lot heavier than the bike is sprung for. I headed over to the shop to do the setup and then take the bike home. All went well except for the weather. It was only 20 degrees out. On a side note, last weekend I took a shot at setting the sag up with my GF helping. My suspension guy measured up the rear and turned to me and said it was perfect. I was kinda proud of myself. I put on my cold weather gear and headed home. I lasted about 15 minutes and my hands were frozen even with heated grips. I left the bike in the driveway and came in to warm up and fell asleep for a couple of hours. When I woke up I looked out the back door. WINTER SUCKS!!!

Move down to Fla! 72* right now and sunshine. Just don’t bitch when it’s 100% humidity and 100* outside and you gotta wear ATGATT!
Great picture, though!

High 50s in Raleigh this afternoon. I will commute into the 30s (don’t have heated gear, just cold weather base layers) but lower than that and I’m out. Needs to be in the 40s for a pleasure ride. Got up early though and needed a nap to catch up on some sleep, so just got in a 1.5 hour ride right before dusk.

30's is too cold for me. 50 is really the cut off although I went out a few times when it was in the mid 40's the 1st 2 weeks after I got the bike. I was out in the high desert in California during the summer and now I'm trying to talk my GF into moving there. She doesn't share my enthusiasm.

30s is commute only for me in the morning (wouldn’t want to do a long ride with my gear), if I know it will be warm by the afternoon, so I can have some fun on the ride home. 40s is fine with the right gear/base layers on, but yeah 50s and above is more enjoyable. Pic is the base layer I wear under my motorcycle jeans/jacket.

Used to love riding dirt bikes in the snow. Once came off a jump and stuck it in deep snow. Took quite a bit of hand digging to get it loose enough to ride out. Was laughing it didn't fall over. Good memories. Of course most riding memories are good.
