How many others have owned all 3 gens of the Yamaha? I've had a '02 Gen one FZ & presently have a '10 Gen II in NY . '18 MT is my winter ride in Florida.

FZ-10 and MT-10 are exactly the same thing. In fact, the bike was only named FZ-10 in the US (and for 1 year), so hardly a 'different generation'. Just saying .

1st gen: 2001-2005 FZ1 2nd gen: 2006-2015 FZ1 3rd gen: 2016-present FZ-10, MT-10
Elp is just confused, the FZ-MT letter change is common knowledge on this forum.

I had a 2015 FZ1. Still a good looking ride! But what’s that stuff on the ground near the trailer?
