Just paid the down payment on a 2019 MT-10 with 810 km on the odometer. My M1800R (M109R) have been a great ride for a couple of years, with wife and my two sons, but my lower back doesn't agree on the seating position anymore and I needed a bike with a more straight up position when riding.
Hope to be able to get it home in the beginning of next year. I really hope it will be everything I thought my MT-01 would be when I had that one.

Haha, summer up here is so nice but winter is really harsh on us riders.

At last!!! Picked up my bike today, a couple of months delay because of life and a knee injury. Too bad the weather is shitty but hope to get a test run in a week or so. 😊

Welcome from B.C. I have numerous relatives in the Umea area. Would be interested to hear your comments regarding the MT-01, it always had my interest but was very rare ( unsuccessful? ) here in Canada and I think the U.S. never got it at all.

Would be interested to hear your comments regarding the MT-01, it always had my interest but was very rare ( unsuccessful? ) here in Canada and I think the U.S. never got it at all. Sorry for my ignorance, B.C is that British Columbia in Canada? Umeå, kinda long way up north for me, 1120 km Glad I'm in the south of Sweden, otherwise I couldn't have been riding right now. Chilly but doable The MT-01, a great bike with a lot of character! Had an attitude when you looked at it but too bad the engine didn't manage to pull it off! I had some great fun on that bike, for a 1700cc it was quite a "nimble" machine with good cornering abilities, sounded massive and were a great bike. But Yamaha promoted it like a new V-max....and it wasn't, not even close. A great bike but not a V-max with it's ludicrous effect and charisma. After a couple of miles/km on the MT-10; it's everything I thought I would get on the MT-01
