Ok so I seem to be having some troubles with these tyres and am wondering if anyone else is having similar problems
So I've had the RS on now for 4300 kms (2671 mi) and ride a mix of keep my licence on the straight and narrow and melt the rubber on the corners. I was happy and confident with them till about 3k
I still have 3mm of tread to the wear bar and a fairly even wear across the tyre and running 30psi rear 32 front. I did raise the rear 2psi to stop the rubber melt and give a little more longevity but I realized that the middle was going to be shot first so went back to more grip at lean
I am just beginning to see some scalloping on the soft compound
I have been happy with the grip till about 3k mark when I noticed a little movement at the rear when cornering (not even aggressively) carrying some speed and the gas rolling on
At first I thought it was the road surface as there were groves carved in the road and differing surface heights and thought it may be due to the high profile of the tyre (55s) reacting with the road surface
Then I thought it may be the change in compound from hard to soft as its moving roughly at about that lean or from hard to soft....Gripping on the hard compound and slipping when it crosses over to soft
But more recent I've had both the front and rear move at the same time same lean same speed round 80-100km and roll on the gas and a decent road surface
Shit maybe they have had their day even though only half worn...how many heat cycles should I expect
Is any one else out there on these tyres having the same problem. Its kinda shot my riding as Im now not pushing as hard....seems Im always waiting for it to let go

The scalloping could indicate an issue with the suspension’s damping. I’ve only had my RS tires on for 1000 miles, so I haven’t run into any issues.
