So now I'm really an MT 10 owner and officially a member of the group. It was only 32 degrees out and I had over an hour drive to pick it up so I had to put it on my truck. I got home and took it out for about 15 minutes and came back with frozen fingers. I got sideways immediately out of the driveway as the tires aren't scuffed in yet so I had to take it easy. Heated grips were supposed to arrive today but won't be here until tomorrow at which point I'll install. Puig windscreen is also supposed to be here tomorrow.  |

Congratulations, you're going to love this bike. It's a hoot to ride. I have the same bike and people at red lights, in parking lots, at gas stations, etc are telling me how cool it looks. If you're going to leave it stock and don't like the looks of the bare exhaust system underneath, I used flat black barbecue grill paint to paint mine and it improved the look tremendously and the heat doesn't affect it. I don't have any photos but, the paint is showing no signs of deterioration. It's made to handle up to 1500 degrees F. I covered everything right up to where the headers make the curve to the engine.
