Welcome Dan, and I agree with your comment. Love 99% of my 2017 FZ-10. If I had to pick one thing I would choose I didn't have the selection of colors I would have chosen but that's the nature of the Japanese companies.

Welcome Dan, and I agree with your comment. Love 99% of my 2017 FZ-10. If I had to pick one thing I would choose I didn't have the selection of colors I would have chosen but that's the nature of the Japanese companies. You're not going to mention the horrible stone slab seat, lack of a center stand or the shoulder and back slaying ultra low handlebars?  |

The FZ-09 seat was horrible and I had to change it, but I can ride the -10 seat all day. |

The FZ-09 seat was horrible and I had to change it, but I can ride the -10 seat all day. Man, I went for a 10 hour ride two weeks ago and I felt like I was sitting on a bed of nails! I've done 12-16 hour days on my last two bikes (Yamaha Raider and Sporty 883 bobber) and felt relatively fine at the end but the MT10 seat stiffness and body position was horrendous IMO. Maybe I've just been spoiled with cruiser seats. |

I have the Yamaha Comfort seat. Its not bad. I'm puzzled why there's no flash available with an eco mode. I guess the liabilty of running lean is why. I'm getting 25 MPG ripping around with a low of 22. Short shifting gets 35 but isn't much fun. Oh well, its a muscle bike and kicks ass on my 2006 fZ1 in every way.
