Had a bit of an issue recently and broke the left front turn signal flasher off my 2017 FZ-10. I know many have swapped out their front signals for flush mounts so if you have the stock unit for sale let me know please. If you want to sell the right and left as a pair that would be ok too as long as the price is reasonable. I'm in Texas and I can pay by Paypal or by other means.
Thanks.

Hey, did one of the sisters 'bite' you? Hope not. The good news is you should find it cheap, like I did the rear tail and mirrors (stupid guy rear-ended my bike at Leakey). But if not, they're surprisingly cheap from Yamaha. The tail is only $50. Good luck. By the way, will ride the sisters again Nov 25 and 26 (weather permitting), but not on my bike. Will drive from Austin if weather cooperates.

Will drive from Austin if weather cooperates. No, not one of the Sisters. Was taking the road north from Hunt, TX (just west of Kerrville) that is 22 miles of good road with plenty of twists and turns as it rolls through horse country up to Route 83. Taken it many times on bike and in car. Road criss-crosses the Guadalupe River many times and on many of those crossings the road dips to river level and than rises and turns so it makes for spirited riding. On one of those crossings I saw a blue Rav4 parked next to the road and for some reason I must have glanced to the river and by the time my focus came back to the road I had missed the turning point and was headed off the road, no time to brake, no time to lean the bike, no time for anything other than to hold on, went off at about 50 mph and slid about 25 feet in a massive cloud of dust. Fortunately not many rocks but the bike ended up rotating 180 degrees on its left side. Stupid, stupid mistake after 43 years of safe riding, and I won't be that inattentive again, still don't know why I lost focus on the road. Daydreaming maybe, glint off the river, don't know. Surprisingly little damage, the frame slider did its job as did the case sliders, but the front turn signal was damaged so that has to be replaced, along with the frame and engine sliders. And the left rear spool was snapped off so that causes an issue for my rear stand. Plus I need to touch up the armour grey paint on the side panel. The owner of the house came out in his pickup and said he heard a thud and a tremendous cloud of dust. He says there are always accidents at that point, cars, motorcycles, even RV's that end up in the river as people get distracted and miss the sharp turn of the road. Anyway, got the bike upright and everything was still operable but it was absolutely covered in dust. Started right up and I rode it 50 miles to home. Nothing seems tweaked or out of alignment, rock steady up to 70 mph on the way home, all controls work, so that is a positive. I have a Givi tank bag that is attached to the gas cap with a special mount, always wondered how steady it would be in a crash. Didn't budge during the crash. Washed all the dust off and did a quick survey of the damage but haven't ordered new parts yet. Too sore at this point to work on the machine.
Was wearing armoured mesh pants and Dainese armoured summer jacket and absolutely no damage to them, my Alpinestar riding boots did their job, too. But I got road rash on my knee and arm where the friction of the inner fabric rubbed as I was sliding to a stop. And plenty of bruising on my left side, but that will just take time. Nothing broken. And plenty of damage to the faceshield of my HJC RPHA-11 Pro helmet. Probably still usable if I replaced the shield but I think I'll retire it as a casualty of war. It did its job. Anyway, the bike lives to ride again once I do the repairs.
Ride safe, and keep attention.

Oh man; really sorry to hear that . But glad you and the bike had probably the best possible outcome. That's Hwy 39. We were staying at the Wyndham Stablewood Springs, right before Hunt, on 39. We did that stretch several times, but rather than end up on 83 (which is boring. And 83 is also mostly boring to Leakey), we turned left on 187, to take that magnificent piece of 337 from Vanderpool to Leakey both ways (just a tad longer, but immensely more enjoyable ). From there, we went to the sweepers, then up and down 335, then up and down 336, then back to Hunt/Ingram via the same 337/187/39. It was 300+ miles, with plenty of twisties, so no need to risk anything on 39, with lots of houses, access roads, and cars everywhere. And yes, we absolutely have to remain 100% focused on the task of riding, especially if going a little spirited (or a lot. Ha ha). All it takes is a second (or less) for something like that to happen. To be brutally honest, I never rode that road spiritedly, for the reasons stated above. Plus those slippery 90deg river turns too. Instead, we just enjoyed the awesome scenery, and left the aggressiveness for the 'sisters', and the magnificent sweepers on 55, towards Rocksprings, starting about 10 miles from the 55/335 junction, and ending when the road turns from 4 to 2 lanes, about mile 15, then turn back and to them backwards. I HIGHLY recommend it after you heal, of course. The last time I almost crashed like you was when I looked at an awesome cabin next to a cliff in Gila, also for a second or so. I ended up inches from a deep ravine, which would have messed me up pretty badly, and surely totaled the bike. Thanked the angels for avoiding that crash (pretty far from home, in the middle of nowhere). Haven't had any scares after that. Now I only look where my peripheral vision sees the road, and not more than a fraction of a second when I'm not... but only when going dead straight, with no vehicles in sight. I have to say I'm always focused when riding, but I still don't do it 100% when driving; need to change that, as I've had some 'Oh crap' moments too. Finally, you were very lucky indeed, but you also contributed to your own luck by riding with proper gear. I ride with all gear in summer, except the pants, but after your report, will probably buy some armored shorts (like the Klim tactical shorts), to wear under the jeans. And yes, I'd replace that helmet for sure; I can see several blows on the side and on top. I might be there again right before Thanksgiving; hope to see you on the road by then, enjoying those awesome roads . Heal soon, brother, and hope your bike is back to 100% soon too, while you heal.
