Hey guys! Soon to be MT10SP owner here! Will be my first Yamaha out of the 10 or so bikes I've owned so far. Will be taking delivery later this week hopefully! Managed to pick up 1 of the only 20 MT10SP's in South Africa. 2017 Model with 11 000kms on it. Ridden by a lady all its life and the bike is mint! Only one small issue is that she dropped the biked and scratched up the left hand side air duct.  Not a big deal though, but I'm trying find a second hand duct to repair it. Any ideas where I can get a decent condition second hand duct. Or should I just get a new panel from Yamaha? Pic!  ![]() |

Hey, welcome to the family. The painted panel below also looks damaged, but maybe it's just the picture. At any rate, depends on your 'analness'. Ha ha. I'd definitely buy a new one, especially if the bike is pristine otherwise; they can't be that expensive IMO, but up to you. Good luck.

Thanks! yeah that panel is a bit scratched up but not really noticeable from about 2m away so not too concerned about it. I phoned Yamaha and got some prices for the parts. Surprisingly not as expensive as I expected. About $190 in total for both pieces. |

That's very reasonable. I'd definitely replace both. It's an awesome bike to start the relationship like that. Ha ha. Enjoy it, brother.
