I was able to salvage mine by adjusting both arms perpendicular to the bike (front to back). They were crooked, probably a bad installation job from selling dealer, so they were extending out less than they could. They're barely useful, but enough for not having to mess with them. But that eBay option is the best I've seen by far, in both price and execution.
Hey guys, a related question. My left mirror is tilting inward at about 100 mph, and it's very annoying. Is there a way to tighten it to the conical base? I don't think so, but rather ask. Thank you.

They are so wide that I will adjust them further away and out instead so they are not so close. More like my beloved FJR.... (should never compare girlfriends either!! Lol)

70 bucks is a rape fest. I was about to say there is no way those things should cost more than a couple bucks. Then the ebay link showed, makes sense.
Sorry OP

Someone else posted those up on the forum. I grabbed mine from eBay for about $8. I bought these for $7.99 and they’re absolutely perfect! Made my mirrors work like a champ and I’m 6’3 280 ex pro offensive lineman with wide shoulders. Highly recommend!

Yeah. I’m happy with them as well.. . ..I really did get hosed on pricing but at that time I wasn’t a fan of eBay... at least the shipping to Canada. If guys are getting them for that cheap and are happy with the quality then it’s a no brainer for sure! I also had a case where I was quite frustrated by the lack of visibility and didn’t care too much about cost as it almost became a safety concern. I tried to angle the arms more forward but the mirrors themselves have minimal adjustment on the ball portion so i wasn’t able to get them just right..better than stock for sure.
