Need to replace my drive chain and sprockets. Got about 17000 miles on this one and its time. I have tight and loose spots on the chain dont want to ride it because the tight spot is making this noise as it rotates around the sprocket. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good chain and sprocket upgrade?

I bought a 520 chain and sprocket kit from sportbiketrackgear for my FZ-09. It was with the DID ERV3 chain. I didn’t get a chance to run it very long before I traded it in on the MT-10.
I would stay away from aluminum sprockets, it wore incredibly fast.
The DID tool made the chain replacement very easy.

If you are looking for a lighter sprocket, you can go with something similar to the SuperSprox sprocket from Revzilla. The inner ring is made from aluminum while the outer ring is made from steel. I am nowhere near needing a new rear sprocket at the moment, but when the time comes I will be looking into one of these. www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/supersprox-stealth-rear-sprocket?rrec=trueAre any of you running anything similar and if so, how do you like it?

Looks nice, but for the FZ/MT-10, it's apparently only available in gold. That'd be a no-go for me . There should be similar ones from other brands, I'd guess. But yes, I'd like to read actual reviews before considering any of them.
