Greeting from nowhere on earth. LOL. Picked up and rode my new Ice Fluo today. TCS was set to 1 And DM was set to 1. Freeways, twisties, traffic jams, streets, no matter where she went, she was performing well. No complaints. Did not want to stop but I had to due to other obligations. Clocked in about 115 miles of pure ecstasy. CP engine is incredible. I feel like it's got dual personalities: V Twin and Inline-4. My two other bikes: '13 ZX14R and '14 S1000RR.

Thanks Clayton and fjrchuck.
Changes to the bike that I am considering: 1. Install frame sliders - bought already (need to buy a hex bit from Harbor Freight to install the sliders) 2. Install swingarm spools - installed already 3. Install Yamaha windscreen - maybe 4. Install Graves slip-on - maybe
The bike as is is good enough for me (i.e., don't need heavy modifications). It's up to me now to ride that bike to its full potential safely (the only factor that limits its full potential, of course, is my riding skills).
The lower end of MT-10 reminds me of a Tuono that I test rode in 2005. Tuono did not like to be ridden at low RPMs on 1st or 2nd gear. This is what experiencing with my MT-10 (I can only ride it up to 5900 RPM because of engine break-in). The sensitivity of the throttle reminds me of my ex '03 Busa (if not careful, the front wheel will lift up very quickly). Had to sell my Busa because ZX14R is faster (but had plenty of fun on that Busa). Bought Busa because it was faster than my ex '97 ZX11. OK, enough tattle-tale from me.

Be sure and install only one slider at a time so your motor doesn’t drop down in the frame .

Clayton, thanks for your advice. I like the camaraderie in this forum (i.e., sharing, so others don't have to experience the bitterness twice).

Damn pot hole! LOL. 45 MPH zone, @ least I was going 45 MPH when I went through a pot hole. The bike went through that pot hole like there was not pot hole. The handle bars did not wobble and the suspensions absorbed the impact well. Kudos to Yamaha engineering team.
Could not locate or find my old set of hex bits (due to moving), so, bought a set of hex bits from Harbor Freight for $7.35 plus tax. Got the frame sliders installed. To loosen LH hex bolt, 10 MM hex bit is required. To loosen RH hex bolt, 8 MM hex bit is required

Got a pick of your ZX14R? My other bike is a 2013 ZX14R in a very dark blue. Actually looks black. See if I can find a pick.

Mine is typical '13 ZX14R: White color and non ABS. Haven't seen your '13 ZX14R color here.

Ah, that makes sense.
Technically, my ’13 ZX14R color is Pearl Stardust White. Other ’13 ZX14R colors available: Passion Red and Metallic Spark Black/Golden Blazed Green (SE or special edition, most expensive).
In ’13, ABS is an option, years subsequent to ’13, ABS is no longer an option. ABS makes a bike heavier. So, technically, my ’13 ZX14R has better power-to-weight ratio, therefore, it should be faster than ZX14R with ABS. LOL.
In ’13, ZX14R was the talk of the town. Too bad it has lost its luster. Motorcycle dealers only stock one and no one buys it. New bloods just not into this kind of motorcycle (i.e., hypersport class). To me, ZX14R is the best all-around bike (the only thing that the bike cannot do is going off-road) and inexpensive. ZX14R OTD price maybe the same as MT-10 OTD price. I laugh when someone makes a comment that ZX14R cannot go fast in the twisties or can only go fast in straight lines. Nothing compares to the torque and power of a 1441CC engine (i.e., there is no replacement for displacement).
2019 MT-10 (according to CW): • Rear-Wheel HP - 131.2 HP @ 9,530 RPM • Rear-Wheel Torque - 73.6 lb-ft @ 9,280 RPM
2013 ZX14R (according to CW): • Rear-Wheel HP - 191.7 HP @ 10,000 RPM • Rear-Wheel Torque - 113.2 lb-ft @ 7,600 RPM

I tour, trackday, commute and everything else on it.a brilliant bike. If I could only keep one it would have to be the kwak. Fortunately,at the moment anyway i can keep both. Love the MT10 as well.

Ah-men brutha! Hope, you can keep both of them for a long time.
No regrets in spending that money to buy MT-10. If I can afford it I will buy it. Life is too short. Before you know it you are too old to do anything then you die. I am still on cloud 9 with my MT-10. Its raw power and CP engine just make me wanna ride and ride and ride …. To me, it’s like taming a wild horse.

My MT-10 got its 600 miles service last Sunday, October 6th, ’19. Old oil was replaced with Yamalube 15W50 Full Synthetic oil. See picture on what they did. On the way home a Panamera S wanted to play from a dead stop. Of course, I obliged; just for fun. Guess which one was waaaay ahead?

Note: I have driven a regular Panamera, it is a fast car. Panamera S is faster.

Have you wired it in or just plug into the accessory socket?

It was wired. See picture. With this type of connection or wiring, Zumo MUST be removed when the motorcycle is OFF, otherwise, Zumo will drain the battery.

Why not use a phone mount and the 12v charger?
