Hey 2fnslow, why would you be looking for a MT-10? The primary reason I bought a MT-10 was because I want to experience CP engine. If I already have R1, I would be looking @ Z900, Tuono, SDR, or S1000R not MT-10.
For the money I would get a Z900 (don't have TCS and DM). Also, you can get one without ABS; then you really ride that motorcycle like old motorcycles in the old days, where you rely on 100% of your riding skills). Almost pull the trigger on Z900 but the CP engine keeps haunting me. For me, it was the right decision to buy a MT-10 not the others (note: money was not the limiting factor).
