I'm looking into getting some bar mirrors. The CRG Arrow or Rizoma Reverse Retro are the candidates. Does anyone have experience with both on their bike and which do they like the best? How is the vibration when switching from a stock setup to the bar end setup? Better or worse? Thanks.

I ran the rhino moto bar end and CRG arrow setup for a couple commutes. I went back to stock. The bar end mirror setup makes the bike wider which I didn’t like for lane splitting. I also have to look further down to check my mirrors. I don’t recall on vibration.

I have rhinomoto bar ends and crgs as well and I love it, I have the mirror underneath my bar so I don’t get distracted by it as only see it when I want to check behind me. There’s very little vibration also. Awesome quality

Same setup but mine are up top. Little bigger in the shoulder area than normal. Stock mirrors I had to lift my arms or dip my shoulder. Now just a glance and got full vision. Cant believe I spent the last 20 years not being able to see what's behind me lol!! Live and learn I guess.

I considered getting bar end mirrors but the more I looked at them compared to the stock mirrors I decided to pass. The stock mirror stalks aren't that long and the stock mirror shape has a bit of flair to it when compared to the previous FZ1 I had so aesthetically they are ok in my book and fit in with the overall style of the bike. I ride almost exclusively on rural roads so I don't have to constantly check what is behind me, even so the stock mirrors work fine for my shoulder width. Everybody's situation is different, some like the stock function, some like the bar ends, do what works best for you, but there are plusses and minuses to each setup.

I use the Rhino bar ends with the CRG Arrows and it is a huge improvement over stock. No vibration and a clear view of everything. Top notch quality. I'm wide in the shoulders so the stocks were terrible for me, and even when I moved my body out of the way it seemed like I couldn't see enough. Highly recommended! So, I decided to not get either of the more expensive mirrors and decided to go the cheaper Chinese route. Went on Amazon and purchased Kemimto Bar End Mirrors. (Sorry don't know how to add links) I mounted them directly to my factory bar ends. No vibration in the mirrors or handlebar. Paid $35 dollars for a set.

I have the reverse retros on my bmw R1200R. Top quality bit of kit but expensive. Saving up to get them for the MT-10.

I considered getting bar end mirrors but the more I looked at them compared to the stock mirrors I decided to pass. Me too... but only after adjusting them prooperly . And by that I mean 2 adjustments: First, the stalks need to be positioned perpendicular to the bike's centerline for maximum reach. From the factory, the stalks are aligned with the handlebar (which is angled inward), meaning they don't extend laterally as much as they could. And second, the mirrors themselves need to be horizontal, meaning the top flat part needs to be leveled. Have seen 2 bikes with the mirrors aligned to the stalks, also diminishing their span greatly. After I did that, I can see perfectly behind me on both sides, so I also decided to keep them, since they're the best looking mirrors I've seen so far. Other reasons to keep them is they're easier to see out of (higher up), wouldn't be ruined if the bike falls, and the bike is narrower overall. But to each his own .
