I’m currently in the market for a new MT-10, I’ve been shopping for a while and plan on picking one up in the next month or so. Been learning a bit about the bike on the forum so I thought I might join! Any tips or tricks would be appreciated. Used to own: 2009 R6 and 2016 R3. Good to be here!

Welcome to the forum! Hopefully it works out and you get one!
The front end is a bit lighter on this bike so it takes some getting used to coming from a Supersport but the bike is a very capable machine.

Hey man, I'm in Harper Ferry but born and raised in MD. I run down 270 almost daily through the season on the FZ. For me its the perfect commuter EXCEPT the fuel range is bad(I have to fill up daily). It replaced my superduke990 for a daily rider, couldnt be happier with this. Mods ive done are an ECU flash, cat delete and baffle installed in the stock muffler, BMC air filter, YHT quickshifter....thats about it mechanically. Ive done quite a few things here and there visually, but thats all personal preference. Between last year and this year, ive racked up about 10k. Only issue mechanically or worry was I found it extremely hard shifting at first(bouth it used with 7k on it), switched to amsoil, quickshifter and I pay close attention to chain slack and it became much much better. Good luck with the purchase man, I doubt youll regret it!!
