I’m looking for a fender eliminator similar to this TST low mount for the fz09 (https://tstindustries.com/tst-elite-1-fender-eliminator-for-yamaha-fz-09-mt-09-2017-.html) for my fz10. Does anyone know of such a thing?

You’re right. Every fender eliminator I’ve found has the license plate mounted at the very end of the tail by the taillight. If you look at the TST for the FZ-09, it can be mounted way lower. It’s basically right above the rear hugger. I’m looking for a way to mount the license plate in that position on my fz-10.

Almost every retail fender elim kit is designed to attach to the stock fender mounting location, the MT-09 location is different because they have an entirely different fender for those models that comes off the wheel axle area and comes up and over the wheel and is not a hang down style like the MT-10. If you want something that is more tucked up under you'll probably have to make something custom for your needs. Fair warning, make it too low and your tire will rub the bottom of the plate (I have a friend that has an MT-09 and he has that issue with a retail fender elim kit, and a suspension not set for his weight)

For myself, I still run the stock bracket because it helps prevent road debris (wet and otherwise) from being thrown onto my taillight and rack (bike is a daily commuter). It'll definitely come off for track days though.
