I like the 'Yamaha' lettering, but big thumbs down on the fake 'Akrapovic' lettering on the stock muffler. That's akin to those people who rebadge BMW's to a higher grade model, or wear a fake Rolex watch. Bad form.

I'm not a sticker guy (removed them all since day 1), so won't rain on your parade more  . But if you already rode your bike with the fake muffler stickers (and to the chagrin of Evitzee. Ha ha), you probably won't be able to remove them without leaving permanent marks. Sorry for the bad news. Have a great weekend gang. |

I just think our muffler looks so much like the Akrapovic GP Slip-On. The Vinyl I used it removable. If it leaves a mark I might just wrap the whole thing in 3M carbon fiber. I knew I would catch crap over it. But we all do mods that make them happy or that we think looks good. Im rocking it till I get up the balls to do The DeCat mod. I just don't want to mess with the exhaust and servos and reFlash yet. I actually like the way it sounds now that I covered the muffler holes with JB exhaust weld. It made a big difference in volume.   |

Agreed! Making it your own with changes (big or small) is a god given right! Everyone will have an opinion, good and bad, but at the end of the day YOU have to be the one that is content with YOUR choices.
All good bro! Do what you gotta do. I put an akro Chinese knockoff tip on mine and am also "rocking" it. Whatever...don't know if you don't try. Nothing in life is permanent anyway. Enjoy the toy!

This gives me a good idea. I should rid my bike of all traces of yamaha production and just put Lambourghini badging all over it. Most people don't know enough about bikes to even realize.
