I thought this covered the front wind deflector. Since im 6'3" I was catching lots of turbulent air at anything over 70mph. Im happy with the quality of the Puig the instructions don't tell you to remove the OEM Parts. They just so a small B&W pic. lol I went with light smoke. I might end up color matching it to the tank what do you think?

I just installed mine 2 days ago...I hope you are as happy as I am!! Undecided for a long time based on looks vs function compared to other options. Pics don't do this screen justice...it's just the right size and doesn't destroy the overall look of the bike while doing it's job! Now I can hop on the interstate without feeling like my helmet is being ripped off my head and will afford me opportunities to ride and explore places I wouldn't have otherwise! Money well spent.

Im pretty happy with it. The only downside is I was unaware I was doing 90mph , I have not had a ticket in 20 years. I have some pull with Suffolk Hwy police but none with the state . The trooper said I can’t believe I’m letting you go with a warning. I was thankful and will try to keep the speed Down but with a 160hp bike it’s hard sometimes you don’t even realize your doing 90mph with this windscreen 😬
I should not say I was unaware it was more like I was doing 90 before I knew it. I saw him and pulled right over before he was even close to me. He did say I appressed you stopping. I guess he knew I could have outrun him. Maybe if I was young and dumb but im 45 now and know better.
/end rant

Nothing worse than thinking you lost them only to turn around and a charger is 5ft from your rear tire, then you have to look for a road with twisties lol!

I'm glad to hear good reviews of this windscreen. Mine should be here Friday. It's supposed to be a hot, rainy, weekend so, I will have time to mount it.

Would it be possible to get some side profile pics of the bike with this screen installed? I'm very interested in this one too.
Thanks, Bill

I`m quite interested in one of these, as well. I`ve had a couple of Puig screens in the past, and they seem pretty good quality, and quite durable. My standard screen is one of the silver ones, but I wish they`d have painted it, rather than wrapped it, because if it`s painted you can repair any stone-chips you get, whereas with the wrap, mine has a couple of chips on it where the paper has ridden up a bit, and it irritates me (only thing that does on the WHOLE bike though, LOL), so one of these may be a solution. Only problem with a screen is that with less windblast you start to up the speeds even more, and it`s already difficult enough on this nutter to avoid speeding as it is !
