My first bike was a Yamaha RD400 and I wasn't ready to ride so it was also my last bike for several years. I started riding again in 2003 and after 15 years of German and Italian bikes I decided I want reliability. I looked at a lot of bikes but the MT10 looked like the most fun and was very different from the other bikes in my garage. I loved it from the first ride. It will be broken in in less than 100 miles and I look forward to lowering my gas mileage. I have worked for Yamaha's Audio Division since 1981 but they would never give me a deal on anything with a gasoline engine. It's simple to work on for regular maintenance and adding accessories so that's a big plus. Lots of aftermarket parts is nice. Great bike!
