hey guys and maybe a gal or 2 I see my temp as high as 230*F when in traffic is that normal ? I hope so , all these post with blown motors is scaring me.

What you might not know OP, is all cars behave the same way... but you never know, since coolant gauges are buffered on almost all of them (except a few sports cars), meaning needle doesn't move from about 180 to 235º, so clueless owners don't freak out and think their cars are overheating. Having said that, for people who lowered fan relay temperature, fans are not designed for that increased duty cycle, so better check they're working as miles pile up, as they'd surely crap out well before 'stock' ones.

Good to know . I use Torqe for android with a BT OBDII reader and get more accurate temps right from the ECU. I wish they made a BT diagnostic reader that worked with an App for the MT10 if anyone knows of anything LMK
