Review? Scorpion fits my head well and I don’t think I’ll spend the money on a Neotec again.

The biggest downside to modular helmets is noise and the potential for the face to fail in a crash. I have one now and I'm going to retire it at the end of this season for a new Shoei RF-1200 or GT Air 2.

Looks good Clayton. I prefer one-piece helmets for safety reasons, but maybe with the newest modulars, it's not a valid concern anymore. At any rate, with my stupid egg head, I don't have much choices for helmets. I've always used Shoei X-xx helmets, but they never fit me great, so had to order a size larger (XL). That was until the GT-Air came out, which fits me like a glove in my size L, once I replaced the interior with the thinner one. Tried several Arai helmets in the past, when they supposedly used to make 'long oval' shapes, but they never fit me right. And hated their features, shield mechanism, and claustrophobic feel. Will look for another GT-Air before Shoei replaces them with something else, since I doubt anything else (including its successor) will fit me like this one. But yes, it'd be AWESOME having to spend less on another helmet, since I honestly don't think I'm getting anything more with my expensive GT-Air than you get with a Scorpion. It's just marketing IMO, since even the cheapo helmets now are certified just the same (or better), and they have removable quality interiors. In fact, my GT-Air is not certified by SNELL, due to the sunvisor, so probably as safe as yours. Take care.

I grabbed one last year and won’t wear anything else! Shoei for life!

I've been trying to find someone local that has the larger sizes because the Shoei XL wont even get over the bridge of my nose and almost no one carries XXL + in stores
