I have ordered an M4 3/4 exhaust, paid for the 2WDW Flash (will send out next week), ordered block off plates
I am going to be removing the AIS, installing block off plates, removing stock cat and exhaust, removing the O2 sensors/cables, removing the EXUP servo and cables, and likely installing some RGB LEDs while its all apart for a soft under glow.
My bike has 2600 miles currently, is there anything else I should do/replace/upgrade while I have the bike apart?

Better brake pads, good brake fluid, tires and suspension setup along with crash protection is what I would have done before anything else. But then that's just me lol.

I have no issue with the stock brakes for now, I figured I'd use them for a while then over the winter I'll probably change out the levers, upgrade to braided lines, and change out the brake pads all around. Suspension is decent for me as is, but I might find someone that can dial it in a bit more, and I've been waiting for the sliders I want to get back in stock, should be soon.

I actually just got done installing my M4 exhaust along with the 2WDW, graves block off plates and removed the exhaust throttle motor and cables. I would recommend installing blank connectors with plugs in them. I did that for the AIS, both O2 sensors and the EXUP connector. Tried to make it look as factory as possible. It turned out really nice. Have fun!

No problem, I’ll try and get on the computer tonight to post part numbers and connector images for everyone to use for future reference.

I've been meaning to post the connectors for reference: AIS Connector: 1x HM090-2 Female Natural 2x HM/MT Plug 090 O2 Sensor: 2x HM090-4 Female Black 8x HM/MT Plug 090 www.cycleterminal.com/hm-sealed-series-090.htmlEXUP Connector: 1x FW 090-6 Male 6x RFW 090 Cavity Plug www.cycleterminal.com/furukawa-rfw-090.htmlJust push the plugs into the backsides of the connectors. I don't believe there is a difference in connector polarity between NATURAL and BLACK.

When you remove the tank to do the block off plates, unplug the throttle side O2 sensor, and plug in the blank plug, also put a bit of silicone in the ends where the wire would normally extend through, and if the M4 pipe has threaded bungs for the O2 sensors, you can get plugs for them.

Thanks for the info on the plugs, I'll try and get those ordered today, as for the O2 bungs in the M4 exhaust I already ordered two plugs to put into it also, so I'm good there.

Never mind, I just assumed they were and ordered it all, thanks for the links! Update: For anyone wondering it was like $30 shipped for everything.

Got my ECU back today from 2WDW, installed the M4 exhaust, reinstalled ECU, pulled off the fairings in prep for pulling the tank, connectors and plugs arrive tomorrow and I will remove the AIS and install block off plates then get it all back together. I can't wait to hear the new exhaust and feel the difference the ECU flash has made.

Got everything installed, uninstalled, deleted and WOW... the beautiful noise it makes is exactly what I wanted. The M4 exhaust gives it that nice throaty growl you want and the flash has made this a whole new bike, cant wait for Monday.... track day!

Heartland Park Topeka Track And my battery blew up inside my gopro on the ride to the track so I got no footage, I'll have to see if anyone else got some of me. I think the only thing that has me annoyed is that it seems about 155 is still the fastest it'll go even with the ECU flashed. Edit: And I forgot to mention that all the blank connectors I put silicon in the ends to make them water tight.

Thanks!!
