Just picked up a 2019 black MT10. Started riding at 10 and I'm 62now, amazing how the bikes have progressed. This is the latest in a long series of bikes. Hope to get it up to the North Ga mountains soon once I feel comfortable with it. The MT replace a ST1300 and KLR 650 I had. Im now down to only 3 bikes: the MT10, Harley ultra and a naked Bandit 1200. David

Me too. You must be my evil twin. I'm 60 and been riding on the mean-streets since I was 14. I picked mine up this morning. It's a 2018.
Congrats David.

So far I've got you all beat in the age dept.....68 last month. Your age depends on what's between your ears.

Thanks guys. I suspected this bike would draw some of us "experienced guys". Seemed the best choice in the hyper naked class. The entire class has much more power than I will ever use. Love the cruse control and the overall feel of the bike. Windshield is the Yamaha one, takes much of the blast off your chest. No buffet on the helmet .... I'm 5 11. Out on the bike today and a harley guy wouldn't wave...funny!

Welcome to the forum! I have to agree on this being the best hyper naked choice, atleast to own one. Yamaha has a great track record in reliability and this bike really gives you everything you pay for!
