How do you guys like our forum so far? Any issues or suggestions?
Thinking about creating an optional white theme for those who don't like the black background.
Let me know if you have any suggestions! This forum is for you and I want it to be perfect!
Remember, you can upload pics easily by clicking "add image to post". Not many forums allow that, but we do !

I prefer the black background. I have no complaints, I like this forum. We just need a few more contributors. Give it time.

Yeah we get hundreds of visitors ea day, not enough people posting and I don't get why. Facebook made a lot of people lazy I guess, but those posts just get buried and lost. I don't get it.

I like the black background in the evening but It did kind of annoyed me at first... Can you make an option to toggle this like a theme on Android? The FZ10 is bareley out yet.. here in the Twin Cities dealers are just now getting them and they're not getting many of them at that.. especially this time of year. As deftone said, give it time ... Have you frequented the FZ1OA forum much?... I think there are/will be a lot of people moving up to the FZ10 platform from there and it doesn't appear as though that forum is going to cater to FZ10 peeps. I also think you're competing pretty heavily with the MT10 Forum.. It has a robust Euro membership but I see quite a few Americans there mainly, believe, because Europe has had the bike for longer so there seems to be a greater resource cache and etc for people to access. I still visit there from time to time for that very reason but I came here because I would rather have a North American based forum with more locals to interact with... One suggestion is to change the way the "Recent Posts" displays/lists them... I would rather see a list of previews (that I can hover over for more info) vs the entire body of each post to scroll through... Recent posts is the first button I hit when I visit any forum so having it streamlined is important to me. That's all for now

Personally, I think it's too busy already and I also agree that it's better to have a North American based forum. I am a member of the two FZ1 forums as well and I did see some chatter on the FZ-10 going over there. Also, I was talking to a friend who rides today and he didn't even know the FZ-10 existed. It'll make the cover of the magazines soon and then everyone will be talking about it.

When the FZ-07 hit the US, the mt-07 forum had a six month head start and they had 700 members when we launched. Within a year, we passed them and now have a ton more members on fz07.org.
I'm working on a white theme and you will be able to toggle it back and forth.

I don't know if it will ever get quite as popular as your FZ-07 forum is. I am a member on that one as well, and I think one of the big draws on that was that the FZ-07 being more easily accessible because of low price and a perception of being somewhat beginner friendly. The FZ-10 just isn't going to bring in that kind of crowd as it is neither cheap or particularly beginner friendly. That's mostly just an assumption though, and I think that the forum will grow as the bike ages a bit and gets more recognition.

How about a forum for other bikes, racing news, parts classifieds, trip reports....?

I have instances where images won't load. I have received errors that the certificate is invalid or unsafe. Sometimes they work fine, but I just posted a gallery and I don't see anything.

Our certificate is fine, it's new and I'm not getting any errors. How are you uploading the pics? Are you clicking "add image to post" button and uploading from your computer?

I see your pics and gallery just fine. Is anyone else getting error messages saying certificate is invalid??
Please give me more details. When do you see the certificate invalid warnings? At login? When clicking link to our forum from google?

When clicking link to our forum from google? It's trouble with their service, check their page postimg.org. You may want to consider changing img hosting service to like Imgur which is a larger company. In short it looks as though Postimg.org cannot afford costs of the current upload required to function and will be shutting down. I am not seeing it because the DNS is trying to communicate with the host server but it is being denied since it must travel across CloudFlare's servers via my ISP's DNS tables. In micro short, you will need to change img hosting, so all can enjoy the juicy images of the FZ-10.org forums domestic and abroad.

From their landing page posted 2 days ago:
What should we do now?
The most likely outcome is that Postimage.org will have to shut down, terminating nearly 140 million images embedded into some 450 thousand websites, first and foremost a number of great message boards (although a lot of online auctions, personal galleries and corporate websites will be affected as well).
While we are definitely bothered that the project on which our modest livelihood depends is shutting down, this latter circumstance bothers us much more. We will hopefully find other jobs to pay our bills, but a huge historical layer spanning more than a decade of some of the Internet's most vibrant communities will be obliterated forever. Thus, at this point failure is not an option; we must fight tooth and nail to keep Postimage.org running.
They can't afford to operate, it's common. I work in IT, unless someone is generous very soon their images aren't going to work for individuals who have ISP's running across CloudFare's network. They may work for you and a few other people that are phiscally closer to the server, but others it will not.

So, now I have to find another photo uploading solution. Thanks for pointing that out about post image.

I must have caught it when my local DNS attempted redirecting the traffic and it didn't match the cert. Which is around the time they posted the new on their site.

Ok, I just switched the image hosting to another source. Still click "add image to post" and upload pics and it will still auto dump the pic code into our posts. Bad news, really bad news, when post image does shutdown, all of our previously uploaded pics will disappear. damn!
