So I installed a set of CRG LS2.2 mirrors and my right side mirror starts to pivot and point downwards every time I get on the freeway and hit speeds above 80ish. I’ve tightened the clamp to the point were it starts to feel like the Allen wrench is going to strip in the screw. Anyone else have this kind of problem?

I have CRG LS on 2 of my bikes with no problems. Make sure you loosen the lower bolt before tightening the one round the ball joint.

Thanks for reply Redgecko59. That’s what I’ve been doing I’ll loosen the most outer screw then I’ll tighten the screw next the ball pivot to the point it feels like the Allen wrench is going to strip in the screw then I tighten the outer screw. I’m wondering if maybe I got a little bit of grease on the ball from the folding hinge when I installed them some how. I’m going to check that tonight.

Check out the metal near where the mirror can pivot. It's rare, but that metal can deform and cause the mirror to not sit snugly.
If that's the case, I would reach out to CRG and see if you can get it replaced as a warranty. Usually motorcycle companies are good with that type of stuff.

So I think I fixed the problem with the mirror. I tok the mirror off and checked it, didn't see any deformities in it but I think there might have been some grease in the socket. I might have accidentally touched the grease on the hinge and got some in the socket or on the ball. Anyways I cleaned the ball and socket with some part cleaner thoroughly and reinstalled. I rode home tonight from work and got on it pretty good and the mirror didn't budge at all. In fact I need to adjust the mirror a smidge and I cant move it now. Thanks for your help RedAndBlack
