I'm going to pick up my new MT-10 next Friday but I want to make sure I have a RAM mount ready or on the way to be able to hold my phone. Since I dont have mine yet I need some information, and mounting suggestions for the mount as I'm not sure where it's really feasible to mount it and see use controls or see the screen.
What size are the bars and if it varies the size at the sides & center? What places do you think are best to mount to on the MT-10?
Post pics if you got them I want as much info as I can get so I can get something ordered quickly!
Thanks all!

Red and black has a post where he lists the parts you need to replace a handlebar bolt with a ram mount. Allows for easy viewing of both the phone and oem display without averting your eyes too much.

Search didn't help me find any post with that information and your image links don't work. Can I get a link please?

Just get the clamp on ramp mount and you won't have to worry about extra hardware

From my camera's POV it looks like it blocks the display but when I'm riding it's no where near covering the display.

Old thread, but in case anyone is looking for a mounting position for a Ram Mount that is centered and lower profile.

That looks good. What's the name of it? I bought a small 'claw' with the large phone holder, but they were discontinued. And are not serviceable/adjustable (fixed ball). So your option is better, and hides the middle triple-tree nut, which is not pretty . Thanks for sharing. Hope mine lasts for a long time, but at least now I know there's a similar replacement .

I use a Quadlock to hold my phone and find it very good and secure. Also comes with a case to protect your phone and quick to install and remove. My friend stacked his jetski with a Quadlock and it didn't even dislodge his phone! I have multiple friends with them.

Just get the clamp on ramp mount and you won't have to worry about extra hardware I have this same set up and its possible to adjust it so you can still see your cluster. Simple solution that is easy to add and remove.

Both of these Ram mounts are much more secure than the X grip, the Quick Grip is my favorite, the top is spring loaded and doesn't let the phone move or press buttons.

I have one on my fz, my dirt bike and had one in my teryx but took it out when i traded it in. I put the x grip on my wife's mt and we both hate it. Going to swap it with the quick grip I took out of the teryx.
