Hey guys, Been riding for a little over a year, currently own a FZ07/MT07 and I LOVE this bike.   best image uploading siteHowever, I've out grown her and looking for some more power/fun. I've had the pleasure of test riding some of my buddies super sports (ZX10 & ZX14) just not a fan of the aggressive body position. I'm looking forward to test driving an MT10 next weekend at Broward Motorsports in Fort Lauderdale (if anyone is in the area please let me know!). Just wanted to say hello and looking forward to hopefully owning a MT10 in the near future! Until then, I will do my research and lurk around before asking the millions of questions I have that I'm sure have already been discussed here. Ride safe! -Dan |

Welcome to the forum. I got to test ride an FZ-10 at the track before I bought mine and that test ride is what did it for me. I wasn't even considering it until that ride. Hopefully you have the same experience.

As i personally came from the MT-07 (GREAT bike for its price, loved it), i can tell you if you like the 07, you will love the 10 from the moment you turn on the engine.
The 10 is a lot bigger than the 07 though (which suits me as a big guy), so it doesnt have that "Im just fooling around over here having tons of fun and i dont care who sees" feel.
The 10 is 0 bit of a joke. Its a "Leave me alone, i know what im doing" (while fighting the front wheel down) bike. It ceirtanly is an MT/FZ but it does tell you that "hey, youre with the big brother now alright".

Even though I haven't been riding that long I respect the power and speeds that come with a liter. I'm very much excited to get on one for a test ride coming up next week to get a feel for her! I have a feeling I'll be experiencing all the anxiety and nervousness I felt when I first jumped on the 07. |
