Same shock I've got. Same abba stand as well! Iam really liking the shock and saving the Penny's to get the forks done. Let us know how you get on.

Hi theculturalattache Bike is definitely much firmer on the front maybe a bit too hard for our local bumpy roads, just as well the bike will be used more away in France and on the odd track. I've been using Maxton kit for years and have had the rear and front done on my last three bikes. Each time Richard from Maxton sets them up really well based on my details and riding style. I had my track bike setup when I was at Donington and it only needed some very minor adjustment. What settings have you got on your rear shock, mine is Rebound - 15, High Comp -25, Low Comp -15. I've also got the carbon hugger like you as well now, plus a couple of other little bits Forgot to post this last time the forks come with a nice tool kit for adjustment and maintenance. roll dice online

Hi beanmachine,
Glad to hear your enjoying your suspension.
Mine was actually slightly to stiff out of the box.
I removed 2 turns of preload to get my static sag and bob's your uncle, happy days!
Rebound is spot on, and compression is very nice.
My settings are rebound -15 high speed -25 low speed -15 5 mm extended 10.25 spring.
Like you I have had maxton before.
I had a GP7 on my 07 R1,I have a RT10 on my current zzr1400 and now this GP10 on the mt10.
Haven't had a really good ride on it since fitting as the weather has been crap but even just pottering about you can feel its so much better.
One great thing about maxton is you can call Richard for advice, he is very knowledgeable and talks at a level you can understand.
Not everyone is an ohlins trained technician.
Your forks look great.
Guess I better start saving...
Don't know where about you are,I'am in the Heathrow area if your about and fancy a ride.
Cheers.
