Can I reach the ground? I am 5,5ft coming from CBR1000F that is significantly lower seating than MT10. I got the financials sorted out for this machine I really want but reaching the ground obviously is a deal killer. Closest dealer is far away so I hope you guys can help me out.

with 165 may will be a bit short , you can easily buy a r1 (from 2015) oem shock and as it has variable height , lower just a bit the bike . or think at some lowering kit (and work out the perfect height using the feature of the r1 shock)

I am 5’4” (162cm) and can reach on tip toes if using 2 feet or flat foot with 1 foot on the floor and the other on the pegs.

Problem with the FZ-10 is that the seat and tank is really wide, so even if the seat isnt the highest in the world, the reach will still be quite limited.
Im 6'2 and I can just about flatfoot it with both feet if i remember correctly.
Personally im against lowering kits, as these mess up the swingarm and chain angle which mess up the bikes handeling, especially when exiting corners (it goes wide) and accelerating (squat). In your situation, if the height turns out to be close enough for your comfort, if you dont mind looking a bit funny, id get some soles that attach to the bottom of your boot. Rather have 1 inch added under your foot than the bike lowered 1 inch.
Sadly, bikes are usually at the lowest rideheight setting possible (handeling wise) from the factory, thats why bikes are usually raised for track riding.
Another thing that can be done is to somehow make the front of the seat narrower. Maybe ghostrider can tell if his R1 tailswap achieved this?

With r1 tail conversion it´s a bit higher and for sure not really passenger friendly.

Oh really? I would have thought it would stay the same height but have a narrower seat. Oh well.
If anyone is going to do more 2 up than giving a friend a taste of that sweet motorcycle life, you need to get lower footpegs anyways. I think someone fitted a pair of FJ-09 footpegs on their 10.
Btw, OP, if the FZ-10 turns out not to be your thinf, have you thought about the FJ-09? I tried it and its a really fun bike, and really comfortable for your passenger to sit on (i sat fully on the passenger seat myself every now and then on a longer trip). Its also an absolute blast to ride, nothing like the stereothypical adventure or touring bike. As i recall it as a lower seat too.
Its basically the FZ-09 with a windscreen, panniers, maybe a bit more upright riding position and lower passenger pegs. Goes up to 120 mph in a heartbeat (with fully loaded luggage), there is nothing "come one now moooove" on that bike.

Yes , but suspension of FJ/tracer 900 are shit . bike is limited to 210 km/h like the fz/mt09 (in few countries limited to 180 km/h).

That is true, but then gain for a 5'5'' rider the stock FZ-10 is most likely going to be pretty stiff.
Either one are due for suspension changes.
Talking of, im saving up for some of stoltechs goodies for my 10. Thinking the triple clicker and just stiffer fork springs.
