Long time rider here and I ride pretty much everyday. Put almost 50k on my 2010 Kawasaki Z1000 in 4 years. I traded it in last night on a brand new MT-10 with 1 mile on it and as of this morning I have about 90 miles on it. This thing is an absolute beast and I can't wait to open it up and see what it can do. If anyone has suggestions on modifications I'd love to hear it. -James

Welcome to the community brother! I would suggest to change the stock mirrors with bar end mirrors as a first mod.

Funny you say that. The mirrors are pretty much the only thing I left alone on my bike. Ha ha. Don't really like barend mirrors myself, since I can't see them in my peripheral vision. At least for me, the stock mirrors are perfectly functional. They weren't from the factory, since they were tilted in (one more than the other), but after I made the stems perfectly perpendicular to the bike (to maximize their reach), I can see perfectly behind now. Plus I HATE how the holes look (even plugged), so that's another negative in my book. Ha ha. Oh, and if you drop the bike, they'd be toast too.

Well, Good to hear that you shouldn't upgrade to them, for me I see that they are much better than the stock ones and I see more from them in compare with the stock mirrors (wider view from behind).

🤩 wow, you made it look sexy bro! Great job, I like how it looks! Thanks man! I'm loving it so far. Next is probably a decat and tune. Trying to decide which route I want to take with that. I'm kinda on a limited budget lol

I'm kinda on a limited budget lol Yeah, definitely the ecu flash is the most important part to start with, it will make you ride your bike better! I am waiting my Akrapovic full system and DNA air filter to come then I will reflash the ecu to make more power of it very soon 😁!
