I'm trying to find a track suit. 6'5 165 lbs, figured a 2 piece would be a lot easier and cheaper but I want a one piece if I can find one. Anyone have any suggestions on companies to look into? I know I can get a custom Spidi suit but I'm really not wanting to spend $2k for one.

I picked up a budget Alpinestars suit for like $800 new on closeout. The key is to not care what color you get! I'm 6'3 190 lbs and went with a 46. The leg and arm length are good for me, but at your height and weight it would be baggy around the chest and possibly a little short. Don't spend $2k on a suit unless you are getting an airbag one. Here is a custom suit company that makes it for $1k. I don't know the quality or shipping prices, but looks worth looking into. www.spartanleathers.com/motorcycle-leathers/charge-1pc-motorcycle-racing-leathers-custom

I second chasx strategy. All my suits I've gotten on closeout. Usually around the winter months around the new year when they're trying to get rid of older suits for newer suits or updated models.
There really is no substitute for trying on suits though. I went to cycle gear to get an idea of what models fit me well. And then would keep an eye out for that exact suit or search for older models of that suit on eBay or websites. Scored my last one off an Italian website and even though it took forever to come, I saved almost $500.
I got a friend who works for Plus Racing. They are EU based but you can take your meaSurements and send it to them and get a completely customized suit with your dimensions, colors, name, patches, etc. You can even hit them up to see if they have someone who deals in your area. You can go to them to measure and customize your suit and then pick it up from them.

I'll definitely look into that company and compare them to anything else I find. I appreciate it

Call Riders Discount (866)931-6644 ext 817, Thomas Jensen(TJ), they had some RST leather suits they were blowing out back in the fall, give him your measurements, he can size you accurately, he is prompt to return calls, unusually beats listed prices on their website. I bought a full textile jacket, pants, gloves, and boots from them back in the fall for close to 60% off, RST Paragon 5, had decent reviews, CE2 rated armour including back protector. They also carry Alpinestars and other brands, have bought a lot of motorcycle parts and gear there, always decent pricing, like I said, the guy had a good reputation with racers and track day riders on several forums.
