Is there any Thing really wrong with how I did this?i personally really like the volume of sound I gained and it’s tone is good. Not de cat good but for 55$ I can’t complain.

Nothing wrong with that at all. I did the same thing...just replaced the stock tip. The difference in volume/tone was surprising. I like it a lot. It looks better (matter of personal opinion). It’s super inexpensive. And, except for that little tip, the exhaust system is all stock and legal, which I prefer. 👍🏽😎

It must sound tinny/raspy as hell without a baffle, but if you don't mind that, then nice savings. Ha ha. But yes, even though the stock can is straight-thru, my Graves sounds immensely better, and louder too, but with a refined and very deep tone. I also wanted something factory looking, so not many options. Just one suggestion for the OP: Put the bracket bolt back in place, like the guy above did. Looks less glaring that something is missing. He he. Hey, you guys should add a short video/sound clip to your posts, for those who might want to follow your lead .

This is a clip for sound. Phone is in my pocket to try and take some of the wind off the microphone

This post contains a video/audio clip with a before/after comparison. fz10.org/post/14022/threadIt is acknowledged that most of the sound/volume is managed by the catalytic converter (not the tip). Anyway, it sounds good, in my opinion. I was unsure myself, until I heard it myself in person. It’s definitely more fun, and gets attention.
