I just picked up a crash damaged 2017 FZ-10 from Copart Ocala,FL. Going to look to work on it over the winter and get it back on the road early next year. Bike is being delivered this weekend, so I still haven't seen it in person, but, I know there are certain repairs needed. The biggest part will be the main headlight cluster(s) and windshield mount. Both are hanging off the front of the bike. I'm torn between the idea of rebuilding the whole thing stock, or using this as an opportunity to build a custom headlight. I've lusted after a full set of angel/devil eyes for a few years since I bought I my street triple (sadly stolen in September). They're pretty spendy to buy assembled, but not too bad if you DIY. Given that I have complete control over headlight bucket, reflector size and shape etc, I'm down for ideas, thoughts, and experiences of those who may have gone before? For those who don't know.... goo.gl/fUoWUvAlternatively, I wondered about bolting on an FZ-1 or R1 upper fairing - I'm guessing the headlight connectors should be the same? Custom build. Ive seen this concept float around and i think it looks pretty sweet. Kind of super dukeish.  |

Yeah, that headlight looks a lot better than ours... at least to this semi-old fart. Ha ha. Maybe younger folks like the transformers look better, but I like the combination of aggressive and elegant design, rather than in-your-face  , but to each his own. I still like my bike very much, but it's not a 10 in design for me. But on everything else, it's a 10... as long as my engine doesn't blow up. Ha ha. Have a great weekend gang. |

That looks like either the old FZ-09 headlight or the headlight of the FZ-07. |
