Hi Guys,
So I have a 2017 FZ10 that I purchased new about 8 months ago. Flashed by 2wheels the day after I bought it. I now have 4500 miles on it.
Last week it "felt" like the bike has lost power. Mainly noticeable at the lower RPMs, below 4k. I've ridden about 300 miles since then and it still feels weak and seems to stumble a bit in the low rpms. Now the temperature here in Florida went from high 90s to high 70s but I'm not sure that would cause this. I'm not even sure it isn't just my imagination.
I'm not mechanical at all which is why I'm reaching out to you guys.
Any ideas? Bad spark plug? Clogged injector? Or just my imagination?
I don't even know how to test to see if there really is a loss of power.
thanks.

Have you changed/checked the throttle Mode setting? That would give you a softer or harder power feel.
Good luck,

Well, with cooler/denser air, you should feel a very slight INCREASE in power, not a loss... with everything else the same (riding modes, etc). My immediate first thought would be bad gas. Did you feel that with your last tank of gas? I'd start there. Fill up with premium top-tier gas next time and if you keep feeling the same thing, I'd suspect the tune second. Bike has too few miles to have any other issues IMO, especially without a CEL. Get the stock tune back, and if it feels stronger, then you'd have your answer. If not, a third option is it's in your head, but you could prove that right or wrong by driving another FZ/MT back to back, which would mean swapping bikes for a few miles with another owner, since it's rare to get demo rides anymore. Good luck, and hopefully you just inadvertently switched to a lazier mode .

in addition to the good suggestions above, you could always pop it on a dyno. this is more helpful if you some runs just after the flash.
