I hear it's hard to find the seats with FZ10. How wants a FZ10 with a MT10 seat...Ha Ha I'm going to order one (along with oil filters and other crap), and it'll be the MT seat. Apparently you can still order the FZ seat (both take 4-5 days to ship to dealer, then to you), but it's $40 more expensive. Nobody seems to know why, so will order the MT instead. My bike is black, which is identical to 2019s (except the front rotor carriers being black vs red), so it passes for an MT, now that it has no stickers. He he. I wanted the FZ, but not paying $40 extra for having those letters. Also hope the MT, being a newer seat, has some improvements... although the price difference could suggest the FZ has better something, but what? Finally, even the stock seat rubs against the tank (same pan), so what I did was to adjust the latch lever all the way to the rear. It has a bit of play, and that should help prevent those unsightly holes. |

In fact, the color name is exactly the same for 2017 and 2019: Matte Raven Black. A simple google search would have led you to that  . But to end this nonsense, I'd order the MT seat even if my bike was purple, since I'm not going to pay more for the same thing, although I wish the cheaper seat was the FZ, like it should have been due to being older. But it's the same freaking bike anyway, so a non-issue. Some MT owners have an FZ seat, so it goes both ways. He he. Peace out. |

Until I see one in the flesh will know for sure, but the name is the same, meaning there has to be some matte and some raven in there. Maybe it's in different places now. All I know is my dealer wouldn't had let my bike go for what I bought it for knowing 19s were black again, so I couldn't care less, since I hate matte paints. He he.
