Not MT specific but I am having the hardest time finding some actual riding shoes or boots. I wear a size 16 shoe and everywhere I look stuff usually cut off at size 15 and even that has an extremely limited selection. Was just trying to see if anyone in here might have some suggestions on where to look. Not trying go out and spend $500 either. Depending on what they are I have about a $200 budget I am trying to stick with. Thanks in advance

If you're looking for a sport-style boot, i.e. track boots or the "armored" sneaker, then you're probably out of luck. Most manufacturers of "sportier" gear are European where riders tend to be smaller so they make the majority of their product to fit as such. The one thing going for you is fitment is all over the place and absurdly inconsistent among the various manufacturers. You may get lucky and find a brand where size 15 is on the big side and will actually fit you. I have 2 pairs of Dainese boots and a pair of Bilt boots all the same size. One pair of Dainese require me to wear socks which are only slightly thicker than women's pantyhose to slide on; the other pair I can wear normal socks just fine. The Bilt boots swim on me and I could double up on socks and they fit comfortably. Check out RevZilla; they have a bunch of different boots and reviews for them. One of the rating categories is for fitment; perhaps look at a boot where the overall fitment leans on the big side. Or call their "gear geeks" and ask. I've called them several times for fitment questions and they're very helpful.
If you're looking for a cruiser style kind of boot maybe hit up a Harley dealership. They tend to attract the big, burly, manly man rider and have larger sizes.

Currently I ride in steel toes. But I am trying to make the swap to a sleeker race type boot or even a sneaker. Just looking for something that has the steel plate in the sole and is a little more comfortable/less bulky.
