Man, I don't think I'd put those things even if I knew I'd go down for sure. Ha ha. Of course black would make it less conspicuous, but still. Moving on to the function side, I honestly don't think the passenger peg subframe is strong enough to withstand a fall with such thing bolted there, but could be wrong. Same thing with that contraption going over the headers; What for? It's floating, so wouldn't make it any stronger IMO. It might make sense for somebody using the bike for stunts, but to each his own  . |

Unless you are trying to be Valentino Rossi or Marc Marquez and expect to have a spill or two every week I think something like this is complete overkill for a street bike. Just don't think it is necessary and I wouldn't be too keen with the extra weight.

Given the bars are well made that's not a bad price for that level of protection.

There are companies in the USA that make them for way cheaper than that. They’re for stunting anyway a wheelie here and there is fine but I’m not throwing my FZ around like that would just get an old junker and fix it up a bit.
