I've had the Oxfords on my Ninja 650 for 3 years and they work perfect. However when purchasing heated grips for the MT I decided I wanted the cleaner look and I'm glad I did. They work just as well as the Oxfords but with a much cleaner finish. I pretested them after changing to the 1000CC setting, since there were a lot of bad reviews for weak heat. They heated up quickly and evenly so it was no brainer for me. Either brand will make your hands happy and extend the riding season so just pick one and install them already. You will not regret it.

It would help if you mentioned what grips are you talking about.

Being that he referenced the cleaner look and having to change it to the 1000cc setting I'm willing to bet he's talking about the Yamaha kit

Hi guys,
Ive just ordered a set of the Koso grips for my bike.
They don’t get as hot as the oxfords but they’re a damn site better looking (and I am in sunny Western Australia)
I’ve had them or their equivalent here in Oz (whites) on a few of my bikes.
Now that I’m an MT10sp-owner how do you wire up your grips on this bike?
Are you trusting the auto switch off… or are you using relays.. and if so where are you connecting the relay power to/from.?
-appreciating your help!

Few months late and I don't have any good advice because I ended up going with the oxfords / did no research on koso.
They warm up quite well, but I noticed that the texture/grip on the clutch side wore down quite quickly due to regular friction from my glove or hand during clutch engagement. The controller is a bit bulky, but the auto-off switch has never failed and the wires clean up fine for my tastes with a set of zip ties. If the OEM grips can be configured to generate more heat, I may switch over to them this winter as I'm guessing the grip itself is also more durable.

I've been debating which ones to get but I think I'm just going to get heated gloves instead. Then I can use them while walking the dogs in the winter and snow blowing and whatnot.
