I thought maybe having a single thread, instead of a lot of separate threads with a post or 2 in it might inspire others to post your ride vids! I like seeing other parts of the country/world, on roads I've never been on and may never be on. Explain in your post roughly (without self incriminating) where your video was filmed.
So post up your ride videos!
I'll start. Here is a friend of mine on his '17 GSXR750 chasing me here in socal, somewhat easy pace and not pushing it too much on public roads. Montezuma-Borrego hwy to be exact.

Here's another short one from last weekend. Hwy78 in socal. Came up on a sheriff sitting on the side of the road while doing well over the speed limit just a few seconds earlier!

Thanks, I always listen to music when I ride always have. That video was from using my 10C so it just automatically records whatever I'm listening to. I think there is a way to prevent it from recording in the settings. My old gopro broke and I just haven't bought a new one yet, so I would rather be recording with a gopro, this was just a dicking around ride anyhow.
Nah he's a good rider, we do track days together as well. Sometimes distances are deceiving in videos. He knows to ride his own ride. And at 1:50 in the first vid you can actually see me blow a corner because I was looking in my mirror seeing where he was at. I had a good laugh at myself knowing he was recording it.

Messing around on Palomar Mountain rd. This road is pretty bumpy and a lot of tight turns. I don't really know the road that well so this is about as aggressive as I'm comfortable with. Plus I passed a CHP going the other way about 5 minutes before.

A 5 minute clip of a nice little road in North East Thailand. The surface is pretty good where it was resurfaced last year but it's best not to push it as cattle, dogs, kids on scooters and idiots overtaking on blind bends are all common sights. As they are on most Thai roads ……
This was shot with a handlebar mounted Gopro hero 7 black just using the inbuilt mike. The footage seemed to loose a lot of quality when it was uploaded, guess I'll have to look for a cure for that. |
