Steering Damper

So i was looking to upgrade the steering damper, cause the stock one feels like nothing is there, too much head shake.

I did read that the ohlins for the R1 15+ fits, wondering if there is a way to use the GPRv4? i have it from the R6 and i like being able to adjust it on the fly, i typcally change the settings depending how im riding and if im on the highway or the street. 

Anyone know if its possible? or would i have to change to clipons or something like that? 

if its too much id probably just go with the ohlins.

Also: i want to replace the brake pads as the stock ones are not giving the bite i am used to and or want, i like vesrah but cant find them for the bike, anyone know if the pads are interchangeable with the R1 aswell?
