how to shut off the AIS without using block off plates???

Winter is coming...its remains one month to ride...i don't have time to wait for my order block off plates...

Nels did it for me but what I saw was they removed the radiator mount bolts to drop it down only about an inch then they reached under the tank from the front of the bike and disconnected the vent line from the airbox. We stuffed a bolt in the line to block the AIS and put the line back on the airbox. Problem solved. I will be doing block off plates once I move and can do a write up then but that does not help you now.

On my fz09 I just plugged the hose with a rubber stopper, works great!
