 I was bike shopping and looked through just about every thread on this forum. It helped me make my decision to buy a FZ10. Thanks! i came mostly from sport bikes, but I have had a few touring bikes, a supermoto, and a muscle bike. The FZ10 seems like a great blend of attributes, fast, good handling, up right ride, and ugly looks (can't be a win in every catagory) so it should be a fun ride for me. I bought a lightly used model and it came slightly modded. Nothing crazy, but it will save me some money from purchasing the mods I would do anyway. Mods include fender eliminator, bar end mirrors, givi windscreen, and a quickshifter. I am sure I will make my own tweaks as time goes on, but it is a good start. |

Congrats and welcome! "ugly looks" can be subjective! I think the FZ is a sexy beast, even the Decepticon face! It grows on you, I didn't like it at first either

See you have the GIVI windscreen, it was my first mod. Still get airflow but not in a bubble.

Amazing how a polarizing looking bike like the -10 actually turns out to be pretty normal once it is in your garage. After almost two years it looks completely normal to me, nothing out of the ordinary. But mothers feel the same when they have an ugly baby, like the old Flip Wilson routine on The Tonight Show ca. 1965. Not PC today but very funny.

Hah very true it is a decepticon face!
I don't mind the looks at all. I wouldn't have bought it If I thought it was truly ugly. It is just unique.
