Completely stock - only footrest and a rear Ohlins off an R1.
Could do with some suspension setting to get it flying a bit faster:

You posted this about two weeks ago and not one comment??? Is there just a bunch of old guys on here or what...JK.
I'm 56 and almost as fast as I was in my twenties. Anyway, pretty damn good riding...you're about 25-27 seconds off MotoGp...impressive. More video please...maybe from the rear or from another bike following you. I'm in the process of making my FZ10 one of the baddest anywhere. Bring that thing over to the USA and I'll ride with you at Laguna Seca...free room and board at my house in Santa Cruz Ca.

No worries - we are all getting old - Im almost 47 myself!
Here's another video from the past weekend:
Riding at night is a bit surreal, all the markers are gone, and you're riding on instinct. Timing is off - almost four seconds off the best MT10's time.

If only I were 47 again. I was still racing competitively back then. 👍🏼

Another 56 old fart here. Ha ha. Hey OP, you have a downshift QS, right? Just want to confirm my asessment that you can't make manual downwhifts what quick and consistent manually . One more question: How good is the cornering clearance on the FZ/MT stock? I haven't taken my new bike to any twisties yet, but with those huge feelers, seems like it only has moderate cornering clearance, but could be wrong. Weight also has something to do with that, but I'm only 160, so shouldn't be an issue. Thanks brother, and awesome riding indeed.

Thanks for posting. That is good riding. Looks like you were smoking everything else on the track. Now that I’m finally getting settled in and used to my ‘18 MT10, I can’t wait for my first track day on it.
I second the motion;come to Texas and we’ll go to COTA together. Free room and board.

That's my right hand blipping on the way down.
I was pretty much trained manually - they didnt have downshifter till recently. Well they didnt have upshifters as well - you had to roll off and shift up without the clutch!
Ground clearance for the road is fine i guess, on the track the pegs will grind pretty quick. I'm even getting the edge of the exhaust protective cover touching down on certain corners.

From early November, a week after Motogp. A 2.28 lap in heavy traffic.
With a full system I think a low 2.20 should be possible. At least the weather was perfect though.
