Has anybody had an issue installing these frame sliders from Trex on their bike? I set the torque Wrench to 10 ft and the bolts never seem to get to that level. I don't want to overtightened them, I had a little bit of oil come out of the clutch cover but it stopped after one heat cycle. I don't want to f up the threads.

Just as a clarification those are engine sliders and not frame sliders. If the bolts are tight I wouldn't worry about the torque wrench, your wrench may be out of adjustment preventing it from signaling the correct torque at that low level. I put SW-Motech engine sliders on and had no issues, I didn't use a torque wrench and have had no problems whatsoever.

Yes I meant to write engine case savers or engine sliders, but I was holding the frame sliders that time. The whole set looks nice and bulky. Definitely looks like it offers loads of protection for any falls or etc. I tried tightening the upper bolts of all those cases, just to see if it was any different and all of the bolts did the same thing. Something tells me that you really need a sensitive torque wrench for those kind of jobs.
