I've seen this, and similar games on other forums and they can be quite fun. The forum can be a little slow, perhaps this can help with that! (if there is already another thread here like this, I am sorry. I looked but didn't see it)
I'm going to just copy and paste this from our sister FJ-09 board to get it started.
How the game is played:
-The game is played by taking a picture of your MT/FZ-10 beside a target object or place. For example the first picture could be your -10 beside a McDonalds sign (very easy one). The first person to post the correct picture gets to pick the next target.
-If you are the person to set the target you aren't eligible to post the first correct target pic. You'll have to wait for the next round.
-There aren't many rules although we could say try to keep it clean, or somewhat clean. Also, this is all in good fun. If there is a dispute, for example the target could be a lake and someone may post a picture of a puddle; we can have 2-3 active members as judges.
-If you have taken a picture but aren't the first person to post, feel free to share your pic anyway, on this thread. Seeing a variety of pics will make it more fun. Only the first person to post will set the next target.
-To keep the game moving if you post a correct picture you can set the new target in the same post. Please post the new target in Red to make it easier to see.

I think this is a really good idea! I was debating getting out and riding a little today and this made me! One rule I’d like to suggest is that we keep the pictures for the tag to be recent. Digging through your phone to find one that fits to the challenge isn’t really in the spirit of the game in my opinion.  Here’s Sophia in front of Moe Joes in Clemson, SC. I'm not going to let this thread die! I will be going out this weekend and can easily get a picture with a state park sign! unless someone beats me too it

I will be going out this weekend and can easily get a picture with a state park sign! unless someone beats me too it this is usually prime riding season, but the DC region of the east coast has seen rain for the past 7 days and I don't know if the rest of the mid atlantic and down will be getting much better given the hurricane rolling in. |

I loved playing this game on my other forums... I'll definitely be contributing whenever possible.
If I may make one suggestion as an additional rule (since it happened on one of the other forums): you can't call "dibs" on a subject. Either post a pic with the current subject/target, or wait. It happened a couple of times where the topic was easy, someone did the "I've got this..." without actually posting the pic, someone else came in and posted a pic before the "dibs" guy actually posted and they got butthurt over it. I know it's kind of a common-sense rule but there's a reason we have warning signs for the obvious.

Dammit. I passed about a dozen signs in Cleveland National Forest today here in socal, but I was on a group ride and didn't want to hold everyone up by pulling off the road suddenly. At the next stop, I let them know that if I pull off keep going and I'll catch up. Of course there weren't any more signs after that. Durr

It's been raining for the last week or so here in central TX, and there are no National Forests in this neck of the woods. I'll have to wait for better weather and better target.

Sorry guys didn't think it would be that hard of a Target, I could do it tomorrow myself but really don't feel that would be in the true spirit of the game.

No, it's ok. I passed a bunch of them today but failed to get a pic. If it's not done by next sunday than you can pick a different target!
