Just installed new Corbin seat and it feels much better than stock seat. I only rode a short trip,still cold in Ohio. Thanks for the pics...  |

How is the Corbin vs the Comfort seat from Yamaha? I can tell you first hand that the Corbin is more comfortable than the Comfort Seat. My only gripe with the Corbin is that it looks a little big on the bike. I throw the Corbin on for 2up and the Comfort seat when it is just me.   |

My only gripe with the Corbin is that it looks a little big on the bike. I throw the Corbin on for 2up and the Corfort seat when it is just me. Thanks for the info! |

I'm a little short, 5'7" and I'm already tip toeing on the stock seat, but would love to get the Corbin gunfighter with lady seat. I'm a little concern that I may have a challenge when at stops.
Is there another brand that anyone can recommend that has same feature as gunfighter with the lady seat back rest option?

Beautiful seat and bike. I just ordered mine on Friday except I got black stitching and carbon fiber sides. Yes i ordered for my comfort but also for my lady who loves to ride as much as me. My question is how is the seat holding up looks and comfort wise today? Is the stitching still the same blue as when you got it ? The salesman saidnl it could fade into a light blue after a few seasons so i opted for black stitching. Thanks! |

Admittedly, it does look like a grandpa seat, but I think there's only so much you can do when designing a seat that's meant for ultimate comfort (for two people, nonetheless) on a bike where performance is the goal, not rider comfort, and carrying a passenger is really just an afterthought. This isn't an FJR1300 or Goldwing, and while this bike is more comfortable than an R1, it's still a naked sport bike. The goal seems to be having most of the R1's performance, while offering a slightly more comfortable riding position. It's not surprising that trying to turn it into a sofa with wheels has resulted in a less than desirable appearance. That said, my wife and I are happy with the increased comfort of the OEM comfort seat and it looks pretty good without clashing with the overall styling and type of bike the MT-10 is.
